Research before rankings.
Our catalogue records exact model names, nominal battery capacity, rated AC output and manufacturer sources for 15 US stations. We have not physically tested them. Their product assessments separate those specifications from our editorial interpretation.
How the first estimator works.
Device energy is the entered average load multiplied by hours of use and days between recharges. The planning target is (device energy ÷ 0.85 + 10W × enabled hours) × 1.2. The 85% conversion efficiency, 10W idle draw and 20% reserve are illustrative assumptions, not brand measurements.
For 95W over eight hours, the devices need 760Wh; this planning method gives approximately 1,169Wh. A 1,024Wh station therefore fails that conservative target. People count is context, not an arbitrary multiplier. Enter the combined load for everyone’s actual devices.
What the tool cannot yet establish.
It does not verify motor startup, per-port limits, weight, dimensions, live price, solar yield, medical suitability or uninterrupted supply. It flags critical uses while showing energy-and-output candidates, and clearly identifies when no catalogue model covers the full plan. Its runtime estimate includes the same planning allowance and is not a measured maximum.
